Celebrity Houses That May Not All They Are Cracked Up To Be?

Perhaps the thing that most people think about when imagining themselves as celebrities is that they can pretty much have anything they want the way they want it, when they want it. Now that seems like a very positive lifestyle but there can be such a thing as too much when it comes to celebrity houses too.

Consider that a home that has been customized for a celebrity will include multiple features that reflect their own personal passions.  Now remember, that few celebrities keep a house forever and many consider selling theirs or moving; well some homes just won’t sell or rent because they are too focused. Now, this might seem like an odd statement but the truth of the matter is that sometimes celebrities will go overboard with customizing their celeb houses. Here are a few examples of celebs houses that may not be all the general public imagines or much more than they imagine.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz put his 95 Acre Aspen Colorado palatial house up for sale in 2005, but 2 years later withdrew the house from the market because he had no serious offers. Was the house tasteless or over the top? Not likely either tasteless or over the top although it apparently has every amenity possible. Instead, it was probably the over one hundred thirty-five million asking price that priced it out of the market.

It is unlikely that the Prince spent had to go through the usual work and US Immigration procedures, fill out a Form I-90 or even get a green card because he was Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America for twenty two years. However, his palatial estate in Aspen is possibly one celebs house that will be hard to unload anytime in the near future.

Brittney Spears home in dropped the price on her Malibu California home 2 million dollars four months after she put it on the market in January 2007. The reason was given by a confidential source in the know and was that a bar in every room and a poolside bar along with the other special features added to the home was simply not to most people’s tastes. There are distinct disadvantages to going too far outside the norm when customizing a celebrity’s house.

It is very unlikely that you will be able to interest a person newly arrived and still working on filling out their US immigration forms,  a Form I-90, or applying for a green card in a multimillion dollar house unless it exactly matched their tastes. The same is true of most people whether they are naturalized citizens or were born in the US. Spending money on a celeb house that is too far over the top either in price or in features is not a high priority.

Disadvantages of Becoming a Celebrity

There are many disadvantages of becoming a celebrity.  Most people say they would love to be a celebrity but they don’t understand everything that really comes with the job.

A celebrity is any person that is seen in the spotlight and asked for their autograph based on their profession.  Celebrities make a lot of money, which makes up for the problems associated with being a celebrity and the need to be able to afford to hide out.

Privacy is not an option when you are a celebrity.  You cannot walk the streets and enjoy the Lighted Palm Trees without wearing a disguise.  This is because people swarm famous people and do not allow them to have a normal life without being invaded.  Celebrities don’t want to have to give an autograph every time they go in public.  They lose all of their ability to have any privacy whatsoever.  The only Christmas trees that they can enjoy are those in their own homes or on their property.

Most people think they want to become a celebrity because they see the money and it is the entire idea of Hollywood.  Many people want others to look up to them and think they are incredible.  The problem is that most people don’t see past the money.  Some people don’t think it is right that celebrities make the amount of money that they do.  Sure they can buy 15 feet high artificial Christmas trees but the truth is that the business has to pay the amount of money that they do because if celebrities were making minimum wage they wouldn’t be able to afford to buy their privacy.  When they make millions they can afford to take their family on a vacation to an island that no one knows who they are.

Many people don’t understand that celebrities don’t enjoy being followed by fans and bombarded when they go out in public.  It would surprise you how many celebrities would just love to walk down the street, play on a public beach, and even take their kids to a park without people approaching them and asking for an autograph.  Most people expect the attention and autograph and if they don’t get it then they become disruptive and disrespectful.  This isn’t fair to anyone at all and it really shouldn’t be taking place.  Because of this, celebrities are forced to spend hours on airplanes and in travel just to get out of their house and enjoy a night or weekend out.  There is no quick getaway for anyone.

If you are someone who thinks that you want to become a celebrity then you might want to reconsider.  There are many disadvantages of being a celebrity.  The biggest disadvantage is that once you reach a status where people recognize you then you lose all of your privacy.  They have to travel to the other side of the world to take a vacation or to enjoy privacy.  Most celebrities are forced to wear disguises and hideous clothing when they go out in public so they are not recognizable.

Lavish Lifestyles of Celebrities

Celebrities have the opportunity to be able to do many things you can only dream about. They can travel whenever they want to around the world; have hired help, shop when they want, and more.

A superstar is anyone who is popular for something that would make people ask for an autograph. This could include authors, actors, professional sports athletes, comedians, models, and anyone in the spotlight.

Icons can do pretty much whatever they want to because they have the money to be able to do it. They can buy $1000 perfumes and spend thousands of dollars on shopping sprees. They might spend in one day of shopping the amount of money you would normally make in a year. A star can buy soy candles and provide advertising for the business. It doesn’t matter how gross they are. If a famous person buys something, chances are good the public will buy the items too.

Idols can travel the world whenever they want to. Many own private jets. This is the primary way to travel because it is almost impossible for movie stars to travel on a public airline. The public is too overwhelming and they do not get any privacy. It is almost impossible to make it on a flight or out of the airport if they are recognized in public. Most celebrities have the opportunity to travel to places that you could only dream about. You might spend your entire life saving up for a trip to go somewhere a personality figure might go every weekend too.

A popular person also gets the opportunity to hire people to help them. They can hire nannies to help with the children. They can also hire maids to clean up the house. They have people cook for them extravagant meals every night if they want and they don’t have to do much for themselves at all. They can even hire a driver if they don’t want to drive or if they cannot drive.

Citizenship is pretty much guaranteed to a superstar because the government is going to get a lot more money from them in taxes than someone else applying who isn’t rich. They can also afford the best lawyers to make the process last a few weeks or days rather than up to ten years for some people.

People who make millions of dollars in a profession that puts their face all over the world have many benefits. They can live the most lavish lifestyle that many people would give anything for. They can travel on the drop of a hat to anywhere in the world they want to. They can go on shopping outings and spend your entire year salary in an hour. They can also hire all the people they need to make four kids look so easy.

There is a downside to being an icon though and that is they don’t have any privacy. Being popular comes with a price and the loss of privacy often drives many celebrities to drugs and alcohol.

The Lifestyle of Celebrity Immigrants

Celebrity immigrants are just the same as another famous person. They are actually just the same as other people but they make a lot more money and life a more extravagant lifestyle. The lifestyle of a superstar includes hard working days, no privacy, and more.

Stars work very long and hard hours in order to get to the status they earn. In most cases, they find they don’t enjoy the status of a movie star once they make it there. This is because all privacy is now gone. When people recognize a celebrity on the street then they flock them. They cannot go into jewelry stores without having their picture in a local magazine. They cannot talk to sales people because they are accused of having an affair in gossip magazines. All privacy is gone for a celebrity and most of them are very miserable. They cannot even light Votivo candles without the public knowing what their favorite scent is.

A public figure is allowed to live a lavish lifestyle because they have the money to do so. Their incomes are usually in the millions. However, the money also makes up for the fact that they have to hide out also. Most stars would not agree to their jobs and the fame without the money. This is because if they made a small salary like 40K a year then they would be stuck in small communities and be at risk and possibly in danger. This is because of stalkers and fans that take their interests further than they should and violate boundaries.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is an immigrant from Austria who was named the World’s Strongest man in the 1970’s. He became famous through his bodybuilding efforts but then began acting in many films in Austria. As his efforts of acting took him to Hollywood to star in many other action films that shot him into the spotlight and made him a worldwide celebrity. He shops for candles for his wife Maria sometimes.

There are many immigrant idols who were not born in the United States. Many are still not citizens also. However, they come to the US to work and they live in their homeland. Some immigrants live in the US also. George Lopez is an immigrant also. He is a famous comedian who has a sitcom named after him that currently airs on Nickelodeon.

Famous people have a sad life because they don’t have any privacy. They cannot go many places without being recognized and flocked by fans. The only places they can go are to small and underdeveloped countries where people have no idea who they are. This is the only way they can be left alone and actually have a life.

Icons are normal people. They just make a very large amount of money so they are protected against the people who resent them. Some are immigrants because they were born in another country other than the United States. However, everyone came over to the United States some time in their family ancestry. Somewhere down the line your family were immigrants too.
